This morning we finished up our work projects, and then headed over to the high ropes course at camp for a little adventure. Then we had our big Summerfest event at Bastrop Bible Church. Kids came in the Camp Wilderness Ridge bus from the Boys and Girls Club, and families from the other neighborhood BYBC clubs in Cedar Creek and Bastrop also came. So did families from our work project sites. We had lots of food, fun, music, dance, and fellowship.
Tonight we are closing out our week with a final worship around the campfire. Doug encouraged us to give thanks to God for his indescribable gifts. We partnered with 3 churches and welcomed their teens into our teams as if we had always know them. We had more kids in 5 clubs this year than in 9 clubs last year. Praise God!
